 Grades are important to us at Alpha Phi – we have even been recognized by Panhellenic with scholarship awards! Through our programming such as peer tutors, study hours and scholarship banquets each semester, we strive to motivate and aid members in their pursuit of academic excellence while at OU. Alpha Phi provides:
- Academic resources such as information about on-campus resources, a peer support system, and study hours to ensure members achieve their academic goals.
- Peer tutoring and study buddies
- Scholarship Opportunities
- Information on student grants, studying abroad, honor societies
- A new in-house study lounge with group and individual seating, as well as computers and printers for member use.
- A Scholarship Banquet acknowledging academic achievements by members each semester
- Superstars of the Week for outstanding scholastic performance
The Alpha Phi / Lucy Finnerty Educational Fund is a nonprofit corporation established in July 1993 especially for Sooner Alpha Phis to manage endowments received from Lucy Hart Finnerty and others. The mission of the fund is to encourage members of Phi Chapter of Alpha Phi in their educational goals and pursuits.
